Nova Entertainment Nova's Red Room with Lewis Capaldi
Smash hit Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi wowed Melbourne fans on Saturday night, performing at the first Nova’s Red Room for 2020.
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter performed in front of over 300 fans in an unforgettable intimate show held at the stunning Chapel off Chapel in Prahran.
Lewis is in Australia touring at 2 sold out shows and has taken the industry by storm with his debut album, “Divinely Uninspired to A Hellish Extent”, released in May this year sky-rocketing to number one.
The event was hosted by Nova 100 morning announcer and a huge Capaldi fan Mel Tracina, celebrity guests in attendance on the evening included Nova 100’s breakfast announcer Chrissie Swan (Chrissie, Sam & Browny), Nova announcer Jamie Row, DJ Rojdar, Neighbours actor Sharon Johal, Ten News journalist Candice Wyatt, Love Island’s Jessie Wynter, Matt Zukowski, Todd Elton, Eoghan Murphy and Cartier Surjan, The Voice’s Madison Krstevski and Jackson Parfitt, Married at First Sight 2018 Carly Bowyer and Samuel Levi from Married At First Sight NZ.
Bantering and interacting with the audience throughout the performance, Capaldi was not a fan of Lamington flavoured potato chips that an audience member encouraged him to try and left the door open to attend a wedding after being handing a save the date for their upcoming nuptials in Melbourne. Some of the biggest applauses of the night came when Lewis performed his hit songs including Forever, Bruises, MHWYW and Before you Go and he wrapped up this special show with his smash hit Someone You Loved.
