As more than 1 in 20 Google searches online are health related, and 86% of people turn online when experiencing health related symptoms, the use of digital technology in health is inherent.
But is technology enriching “patient” experiences, or is it a foe to progress as more people turn to Dr. Google for self-diagnosis and DIY-treatment? That was the main topic of discussion at a special panel hosted by health communications agency, Health Haus.
The event saw specialists from across the healthcare, marketing and technology industries and discuss how technology can be used as a powerful tool in the healthcare experience.
