Pendulum Communications All Hands Brewing House Event
Last night was the long-awaited launch event of All Hands Brewing House at King Street Wharf. The iconic harbourside microbrewery and public house, which is located on the site of the old King St Brewhouse and has undergone a full renovation and redesign, welcomed over 200 guests, including media, celebrities and influencers.
Upon arrival guests were offered Aperol cocktails, and of course All Hands beers, including two exclusive brews made specially for guests, and only available on the night from the hand pumps.
Throughout the evening boiler makers, wine, sparkling and prosecco was also on offer.
Group Executive Chef Graeme McLaughlin, who has a career working at many acclaimed Australian restaurants under renowned chefs, including Bilsons in Sydney under the guidance of Guillaume Brahimi, Quay, Guillaume@Bennelong and Tetsuya's, worked with Executive Chef Michael Acevedo to create a taster menu for the night which showcased the venues dishes. These included dry spice salmon rillette served on corn blinis with avruga caviar and dill, chorizo corn dogs with smoked mayonnaise and Jalapeno, mini crab sliders and mini smoked lamb tacos with matched Kolsch Beer taster. For the sweet toothed dessert featured chocolate and stout brûlée tart with matched Stout Beer taster, key lime meringue pie and peanut butter and jelly.
A sensory beer experience with the Head Brewer Sam Clayman allowed guests to fully immerse themselves in the production process of All Hands award winning in-house brews. Sam took guests through each stage of ‘how to make a beer’, with taste, touch and smell stations. Top Melbourne DJ Andy Murphy kept everyone partying late into the night.
