Pinky Promise Breakfast

The Langham Ballroom, Sydney 7 June 2017

On Tuesday 6th June, Australian charity Pink Hope held their annual Pinky Promise Breakfast at The Langham Ballroom, Sydney. The event by Pink Hope, was held to educate and raise awareness about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. The Master of Ceremonies role was shared between long-time best friends Elle Ferguson and Tash Sefton. Guests heard from the two They All Hate Us besties, everyday Australian ambassadors Sarah Powell and Lisa Kidd, as well as Pink Hope founder Krystal Barter, who launched Pink Hope following a double mastectomy after her own breast cancer diagnosis. Guests recorded their own Pinky Promises in their Pink Hope notebooks from The Daily Edited, with the aim of holding themselves and their friends accountable to their promises. The Pinky Promise campaign has built upon this success this year by showcasing 'real' Australian women who are genuine best friends, alongside celebrity ambassadors including Anna Heinrich, Carissa Walford, Caroline Groth, Elle Ferguson and Tash Sefton and LA=based influential Australian talent like Ashley Hart, Mallory Jansen, Renee Bargh and Jess McNamee.
